Studio Assistant - Photo Studio

Job Introduction

Selfridges Photo Studio is a dynamic team responsible for the output of e-commerce and creative imagery. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Studio Assistant to support our three internal Studios; Creative, Fashion and Stills. This is a full-time, campus centric role who will contribute to setting up our teams for success on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech savvy and has a strong interest in photography.

Key Responsibilities

Photographic and lighting equipment inventory

Proactive in the replacement, repair and maintenance of Studio kit

Support in the set up and break down lighting, backdrops and other studio equipment

Manual handling of photographic equipment around Selfridges Studio and Store

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the Studio spaces

Ensure all equipment is properly stored and secured

Production support on creative shoots

Stock operations support when required

Consumable order collections and distribution

Collaborate with a wide range of teams

You will have

Sound knowledge of photography and lighting equipment

Confident to communicate clearly in a creative studio environment

Comfortable working on your feet and lifting light to moderate equipment

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

A positive, can-do attitude.

A team player who demonstrates initiative

Strong communication skills and experience trouble-shooting

Flexibility on extended hours for creative shoots.
