Creative Traffic Manager
Role Responsibility
The Creative Traffic Manager is responsible for the flow of traffic through the creative teams, ensuring smooth workflows, efficient resource allocation and timely project deliveries. The role is integral to a high-functioning creative team, allowing colleagues across creative disciplines to maintain optimum focus on their ideation and outputs. They will be the first point of contact for all internal stakeholders within the Business. The Creative Traffic Manager reports into the Senior Creative Operations Lead, within the Strategy and Operations team.
As Creative Traffic Manager, you will:
- Optimise the flow of projects and tasks across a fast-paced, wide-ranging and multi-faceted workload, allocating resource in line with team capacity.
- Support the Senior Creative Operations Lead in providing a central point of information and transparency for the project briefs coming into the Creative Function.
- Seek required information to ensure briefs are detailed and robust, and sense check their viability against the Creative roadmap and strategic business priorities.
- Ensure projects are realistically trafficked across the function and that briefs are served to the right team at the right time, using the relevant systems and software.
- Determine resource requirements and providing consultation on the planning of projects in partnership with the Creative Project Management team.
- Communicate matters of logistics and scheduling to all stakeholders clearly, ensuring all areas of remit and responsibility are understood and agreed.
- Monitor projects and workload, adjusting where necessary to ensure that the demand meets the team’s capacity.
- Escalate issues or propose solutions in regard to workload, resource and prioritisation in a clear and timely manner.
- Provide transparency and clear accountability at all times.
- Maintain a harmonious balance between creativity and efficient productivity.
- Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure an efficient and mutually beneficial workflow.
- Manage freelance requirements and bookings.
- Work with the wider Business to help them understand the correct briefing process.
The Ideal Candidate
- Apple Mac/computer literate. You will have experience using Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience using monday.com project management system preferred.
- You will have experience either in-house or a design studio, having worked with graphic designers, and have a strong understanding of the design and print production process.
- Strong proactive problem solving abilities, always thinking solutions first.
- Highly organised. You will facilitate focus, accuracy and quality in a fast paced creative environment.
- A strong communicator. Managing multiple stakeholders across the business - show strong initiative, energy and enthusiasm while also being able to motivate, inspire and lead resources in a collaborative way.
- Focused and self-motivated. You will have the ability to work effectively to help deliver projects to deadline.
- Comfortable managing a heavy workload, multi-tasking and prioritising numerous projects at any one time.
- Calm within a busy environment. You will be able to prioritise and adapt, multi-task effectively and switch planning due to the reactive nature of the business.
