Role Responsibility

This role will be focused on ensuring the Washington programme is effectively managed to meet all programme timelines, through co-ordination across all workstreams and robust delivery of all project documentation, reporting and audit requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Own the overall programme and workstream plans and ensure all workstreams are completing activities to schedule.
  • Identify for each workstream a critical path milestone plan and report weekly against progress.
  • Manage the programme risk maps and RAIDD log and keep updated and aligned with internal audit team.
  • Ensure the sharepoint site is efficiently organised and all documentation is up to date.
  • Manage the PMO co-ordinator to ensure high quality, accurate and on time programme documentation, meeting efficiency, action logs and notes.
  • Support workstream leads with meeting management and activity co-ordination.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align on content provision. Specific focus on change activities and all Selfridges internal facing implications.
  • Key stakeholders include: Supply Chain operations team, Property, Procurement, IT, DHL Operations, B&M, HR, Finance.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience

  • A solid background in logistics project management, preferably retail or a fast paced commercial environment.
  • Previous experience in significant strategic project control.
  • Operational management experience.

 

Technical Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Detail orientated, with strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft powerpoint and project skills.

 

Personal Attributes/ Behavioural Skills

  • Able to solve problems efficiently.
  • The ability to build relationships across all business areas, and with external suppliers.
  • Highly self-motivated.
