Product Styling Editor

Role Responsibility

  • A guardian of Selfridges style across Men’s and Women’s Fashion Stills and Accessories across e-commerce.
  • Reporting into the Creative lead, Line manage the Stills stylists and Assistant stylists, overseeing and managing their progression within the studio
  • Review daily contact sheets across stills and mannequin and give feedback to the team.
  • Partner with Production on the optimum daily product allocation.
  • Schedule the daily Mannequin and Stills team
  • Style our Priority brand Still sets when required.
  • Collaborate with the Styling Manager across fashion and support when required
  • Regularly meet with the Accessories and Jewellery Buyers to understand strategy and identify opportunity within the Photo Studio.
  • Work alongside Art direction to ensure the stills team optimize accessories opportunities on-set.
  • Explore opportunities to engage our customer base and look to consistently elevate e-commerce Stills imagery.
  • Ownership of Stills styling guides and collaborate with the styling manager to ensure brands are aligned across fashion and accessories.
  • Collaborate with the Photography and Retouch editors to continuously seek improvement of our imagery for the Selfridges customer journey
  • Work alongside the creative stylist to ensure priority product moves through the studio process efficiently and driven by improving time to site .
  • Partner with Fashion Direction and Imagery lead to align stills imagery across the website and enhance the customer journey on PDP.
  • A champion of Selfridges style and ability to foster relationships across the wider business.
  • Engaged in the development of the Stills stylists and assistant styling team
  • Full-time 5 days a week studio based role

The Ideal Candidate

  • A strong portfolio of Stills, Accessories and Mannequin styling for online
  • Experience with luxury brands essential
  • Solid experience with Mannequin sets and still life
  • Demonstrated experience with a wide range of Photographers
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience across Fashion, Beauty and Accessories plus, Food would be beneficial
  • Creative experience across gifting imagery and Hampers would be beneficial
  • Ability to draw on a wide range of references that speak to the Selfridges tone of voice
  • Accuracy and a strong eye for detail ensuring delivery of exceptional work
  • Creative flair whilst commercially minded
  • Calm within busy environment. You are able to prioritise, having good time management and are adaptive, with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Competent in producing presentations and style decks to share with senior stakeholders
