Still-Life Production Coordinator

Role Responsibility
As Still-Life Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling and resourcing daily in-house BAU e-commerce still-life shoots according to deliveries, time-to-site, forecast and budgets. Categories you will schedule include Women’s and Men’s Accessories, Home, Childrenswear including Toys, Flowers, and Food & Wine.
Working in tandem with the Fashion Production Coordinators, each day will involve communicating with our in-house Art Direction, Photography, Styling and Product team ensuring effective scheduling according to brand direction, product type and team skillsets. Liaising with freelance stills talent as required - placing options, releasing, confirming – you must have impeccable communication skills. Outside of BAU, you will have the opportunity to be involved with creative still-life shoots as and when briefed such as seasonal and all-year-round Hampers.
You will need to work collaboratively with several key stakeholders across the business obtaining information required to ensure key launches/priorities and BAU deadlines are met, whilst supporting the wider Photostudio departments to achieve these deadlines. And, you will be able to multi-task daily, adapt to changing information and updates, spot potential issues before they happen, communicate clearly and concisely, and have superb attention to detail (visually and numerically).
Reporting into the Still-Life Production Manager, this role demands a team player who is eager to learn and can grasp new information and systems quickly. You will also showcase flexibility in your ways of working, can think outside of the box and bring new ideas to the wider Production and Photostudio team.
This opportunity is for someone who has previously worked in an e-commerce studio, with stills experience and who is highly organised, enthusiastic, a problem solver and thrives in a fast-paced reactive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft set placement on daily call sheets. Fine-tune changes such as feedback, team holidays, sicknesses, brands, other updates
- Manage freelance stills talent availability calendar – confirm, pencil or release options daily
- Split product for shootlists, briefing teams accordingly and awareness of crossover workstreams between model and stills – flat details of certain RTW, bags-on-model and jewellery-on-model
- End-to-end delivery of Still-Life priorities and brand launches – dropping key dates and information in calendar reminders through to critical paths and go-live
- QA imagery before retouch, checking product shot adheres to style guidelines
- Still-Life workflow efficiency and productivity, system sweeps and requesting missed product from the DC to Studio
- Sample management – delivery tracking, procuring data, dummy SKUs, returning product etc.
- Budget and data administration tasks - tracking spend, Purchase Orders, product volumes etc.
- Discover new freelance stills talent to present, and arrange Meet & Greet’s and/or shadowing days
- Support with mapping out new processes and improvements, suggesting ideas
- Support with managing daily queries and emails are answered efficiently
- Demonstrate and maintain a professional presence in and around the studios
- Ensure prompt start times on set by updating Security of any changes
- Working on ad hoc shoot projects
- Covers other duties in team absences
The Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years’ industry experience in an e-commerce environment
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Image Asset Management software
- Highly process and productivity-driven
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well as part of a wider team and under pressure in fast-paced environment
- Ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise workload - using time management skills
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good numerical ability
- Organised and quick thinking
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Network of industry contacts/recommendations
