Role Responsibility

This role will be focused on supporting the Head of Social Media to deliver the social media strategy, revolutionising the process for owned social media channel content. Working with an amazing roster of brands you will constantly drive the creation of thumb stopping social-first imagery and video, while bringing to life our innovative and memorable in-store events, and social commerce objectives.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Alongside the Head of Social and Social Strategist develop and lead a forward-thinking social media strategy that puts the customer at the heart of our offer
  • Develop strategic and tactical content franchises for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tik Tok, Clubhouse, Snapchat, Whatsapp and Pinterest for the UK and international markets, with the aim of increasing brand awareness, driving engagement and supporting revenue
  • Devise, pitch and deliver content and campaigns cross functionally while ensuring a social first approach to all activations
  • Work within the Content and Design Studio to ensure a consistent tone of voice and brand identity
  • Work across Womenswear, Menswear, Beauty, Food and Home to create an authoritative lifestyle point of view
  • Managing external relationships to ensure we are optimising key opportunities with brand and platform partners
  • Develop a robust reporting plan across key categories for the business that helps deliver key messages and increase awareness of social performance across the business
  • Managing the briefing system for key photographers, influencers, creative stakeholders and internal talent
  • Build a robust influencer and community program with PR and implement consistent community management
  • Lead team training and knowledge sharing
  • Sign off copy and imagery ensuring consistent brand messaging across the business
  • Support the regional stores, Birmingham, Trafford and Manchester to ensure localisation of key messaging
  • Manage the social calendar across all platforms, liaising with all stakeholders for 360 customer comms
  • Maintain and challenge standards across all channels in keeping with our brand direction

The Ideal Candidate

EXPERIENCE

 

  • Extensive experience managing social platforms across international markets and using social listening tools
  • Experience leading and inspiring a team
  • Experience working cross-departmentally and representing the social agenda, introducing new concepts to the business
  • Proven track record running social campaigns
  • Confident copywriter with a flair for witty social captions
  • Previous e-commerce website and retail experience preferable
  • Exceptional stakeholder management
  • Capable of working within a pressurized environment to tight deadlines
  • Confident and positive with solution-orientated outlook
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and be a self starter when required
  • A love of social media and clear understanding of innovation and platform developments and trends
  • Good at time management and capable of working to tight deadline
  • Matrix management experience a bonus
