Role Responsibility

As Retail Stock Runner you will be responsible for the stock in your department and ensure that it is available and accessible for the customer. You will support the wider retail team to put the customer and the heart and create an experience that keeps them coming back. You will be responsible for providing the customer with product as and when required, maintaining stockroom standards and completing audits.

As Retail Stock Runner you will:

  • Support Sales Associates on the shop floor when they are serving customers by retrieving product from the stockroom at the customers request and in a timely manner.
  • Replenish stock on the floor as and when required.
  • Follow the stockroom standards template to maintain stockroom standards, making them easily accessible to find stock for customers.
  • Follow the defined process on holds for customers and team members, ensuring they are held in the correct place for the correct period of time.
  • Manage the sold as seen process, ensuring correct pricing and display within the department, to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Be responsible for dry cleaning of damaged stock to be able to sell as sold as seen.
  • Prepare the stockrooms and shop floor to conduct audit counts twice a year (and additional as required).
  • Following receipt of stock take results, carry out the necessary investigations and liaise with Department Manager and internal audit with the outcome of the investigations.
  • Carry out mini audits where necessary and in agreement with internal audit.
  • Liaise with the Stock Operations team in the picking and dispatch of RTV's/RTW's and store to store transfers.
  • Ensure that all product is steamed, ticketed and tagged correctly and liaise with the Department Manager to back out the dump SKU to ensure stock file is up to date.
  • Support the shop floor team with additional customer facing duties as required e.g. fitting rooms

 

Working Pattern:

  • 10 hours - Friday/Saturday/Sunday  

The Ideal Candidate

How you’ll do it…you will be:

  • Well organised. You understand the importance your role plays in our service proposition by maintaining clean, tidying and accurate stock rooms to support the sales team
  • A great communicator. You will keep your division informed of workflow and timescales, pre-empting any issues and suggesting solutions and keeping the sales team informed of new stock arrivals and back in stocks for bestsellers
  • Collaborative. You will work closely with multiple teams to ensure the safe guarding of stock, prevent loss and ensure product is accounted for at all times
  • Adaptable. Ability to work both independently as well as collaborate across the wider team. You understand the need to shift working priorities due to competing deadlines and changing priorities
  • A solutions focused individual with the ability to review ways of working and suggest improvements
  • Able to lift and move stock safely and securely
