Role Responsibility

Overview:

The Product Centre of Excellence’s mission is to help shape the product strategy, evaluate opportunities, and guide long-term roadmaps at Selfridges. We work with cross-functional partners and business leadership to surface and prioritise opportunities in support of our customer and business strategies. The Product Centre of Excellence is a new team and is part of the growing digital Product organisation at Selfridges

 

This Product Strategy Manager will help establish the Product Centre of Excellence at Selfridges, defining the remit, responsibilities, and ways of working for the team. They will report into the Product Principal, Customer Experience Strategy and Planning.

 

Responsibilities

  • Shape our product portfolio and roadmap, evaluate new opportunities, evolve our product strategy, and guide long-term roadmaps
  • Establish consistent approaches to planning, prioritisation and benefits realisation tracking across our teams, and the mechanisms through which outcomes are reported
  • Influence Product and Engineering leadership to achieve our mission and strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Delivery, Data, User Research) to drive strategic initiatives
  • Help scale the Product organisation at Selfridges

The Ideal Candidate

  •  Consulting or consumer technology
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams Product, Engineering and Delivery teams
