Role Responsibility

The Marketing Coordinator will continue to surprise, amaze and amuse our customers and make everyone feel welcome by making, telling, and sharing stories.

The Marketing Coordinator will play a leading role in delivering annual category marketing strategy, with key focus upon marketing planning, stakeholder collaboration and management, driving annual marketing revenue targets

As a Marketing Coordinator you will:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Managers and internal teams/stakeholders on driving the annual marketing calendar. Participate in, and contribute to, brainstorms and discussions (formal and informal) on our marketing strategy, consistently demonstrating the use of evidence, facts, and insights to inform suggestions and rationalise proposed decisions: continuously demonstrate understanding of both our customer and the divisions that we support
  • Help drive mutual accountability across the Marketing Team regards campaign delivery and management, with a focus upon:
  1. Delivering campaigns on time, to scope and supporting planned outcomes
  2. Helping shape, and clarify, roles and responsibilities, seeking to understand for self and team and highlighting and resolving any ambiguity
  • Help steer briefing of and ongoing optimisation discussions with our media agency(ies)
  • Contribute to, constructively challenge, and advocate for, well-thought through and validated copy and content per campaign, ensuring outputs are relevant and aligned with broader Selfridges messaging
  • Support Marketing Project Management Team with identifying, preventing, and mitigating risks to a campaign - help identify and create resolutions and proactively implement recovery
  • Use tracking and analytical software to track and report on performance data from our campaigns - prepare campaign performance reports as required
  • Support continued clarity and alignment on our marketing planning across key functions/business partners (internal and external)
  • Champion our Sustainability Vision & Purpose: Ensure (relevant) sustainability messaging is integrated throughout all our marketing deliveries
  • Drive, manage and maintain excellent relationships with our brand partners through clear identification of need and compilation and provision of relevant marketing materials/documentation
  • Continually research, review and share, changes to the market/business landscape, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, (including any compelling marketing activity)
  • Support successful delivery of FY Marketing Revenue Targets via a customer-centric lens
