Role Responsibility

(This role can be based in Manchester, Birmingham, or London.)

 

The Role

This role supports the L&D team in key administration activities focused around induction (The Big Yellow Welcome) including:

•Managing the collective inbox and responding to queries

•Managing training bookings, attendance and respective charges within Excel

•Uploading new starters access to point of sale system

•Completing process for ordering new name badges

•Managing Health and Safety training documents

•Supporting with process of induction bookings in MyWorkday – amendments, cancellations, no shows etc.

•Develop insight by using booking data to understand attendance 

•Collate information and data in Excel, as required by L&D team and stakeholders across the business, following appropriate GDPR principles

 

The role will also support the wider L&D team with learning administration including but not limited to:

•Managing the Learning hub/ training rooms bookings.

•Maintenance of learning records on our learning management system (LMS) My Workday learning including enrolling, changing bookings and marking attendance.

•Creation and scheduling of new courses on My Workday Learning.

•Managing the L&D inbox, responding to queries or sharing with relevant members of the team as needed.

•Processing of invoices and raising of purchase orders for needs across the team.

•Supporting with updating learning materials with edits from across the team.

The Ideal Candidate

How you’ll do it…you will be

Confidence and understanding of working with Microsoft packages, mainly Excel and Outlook

•Strong written communication skills

•Great organisation skills – required to work on multiple platforms/programmes

•Experience with My Workday would be ideal but not essential

 

To succeed in the role you will be:

•Able to demonstrate attention to detail and complete multiple repetitive administration tasks at pace.

•Experienced in Excel and other Microsoft Tools

•A proactive problem solver, identifying and investigating errors and finding solutions.

•Interested in learning about the learning function and our systems and processes to be able to support the team and respond confidently with team member queries.

•Strong time management and be able to effectively work remotely
