Infrastructure Support Analyst
Role Responsibility
The infrastructure support analyst will be part of a specialist team managing the existing network, server estate and cloud technologies. You will also be responsible for resolving a variety of incidents escalated from 2nd line and building new technical solutions as part of projects. You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and be a self-starter with experience of operating with a high level of autonomy.
The infrastructure team is responsible for delivering and maintaining the core IT systems and network to the entire business. The role is based in London head office and operates hybrid working on a 2 +3 schedule: 2 days in the office and 3 remote working days.
The role will involve working out of hours, weekends and bank holidays when required, but primarily the role is a 9 to 5:30 Monday to Friday. You are required to be on-call for 1 week to cover out of hours escalations, this is shared throughout the team on a rota basis. Travel to the other sites is necessary where technical projects require infrastructure expertise.
The Ideal Candidate
You should be a strong all-rounder with experience in a selection of the following:
- PC hardware/software and user support
- VMware vSphere
- Azure / AWS (Preferred)
- Oracle Technologies and OCI Cloud
- Windows Server administration
- Networking Skills including TCP/IP, switches, patching, VPN’s etc.
- Firewall technology’s such as Dell SonicWall/Palo Alto/FortiGate
- Wireless Infrastructure Motorola/Cisco/Aruba
- MS SCCM administration (Application packaging, OS deployment, patch automation).
- MS Office & 365
- Active Directory, GP, DNS, DHCP
- Exchange & Lotus Notes
- Windows 10 Client
- Storage solutions
- Mobile technology MDM Management
- ITIL v3 and experience of working in an ITIL environment
