Role Responsibility

Reporting to the Head of Studio Operations, this role is responsible for the successful management of high volume imagery workflow of all e-commerce assets produced for Selfridges.com. This role will be the owner of all third-party brand image and workflow management partners, being a leader in best practice when it comes to image asset management for a fast paced and large scale image asset operation.

As Image Asset Manager you will:

  • Provide high volume image asset management and relationship owner for brand supplied assets and off shore post production agencies.
  • Be the department image workflow owner for efficient and timely upload of image assets for up to 140,000 products annually in a fast paced e-commerce Photostudio environment.
  • Provide day to day running of the image asset management team including image upload, image workflow processes & process troubleshooting.
  • Manage and mentor the full time and freelance image coordinators
  • Provide ownership of the automated image asset management software from development to upgrades throughout all users.
  • Answer image management queries across all internal stakeholders with a can-do attitude.
  • Be the owner of imagery related special projects including high volume image changes in workflow software.
  • Deliver actions and solutions to support workflow issues relating to stock not on site and changes in online store technical development relating to imagery.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Technical. With solid technical experience using image workflow systems and Scene 7
  • Pragmatic with a systematic approach to getting things done and meticulous to detail
  • A problem solver, you will be solution focused
  • Highly process driven but able to see the bigger picture
  • A great communicator with excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to build relationships
  • A people leader with collaboration and leadership skills
  • Experienced, with a minimum 3 years management experience in an e-commerce Photostudio or high volume Post Production studio environment
  • Calm with the ability to be work well under pressure
  • Firm but have a friendly approach to dealing with external stakeholders
