As HRIS Analyst you will be integral to the HRIS team in building and maintaining an HRIS Workday solution. You will be a key member of the support team, fully understanding the configuration of Workday. The HRIS analysts will support the day to day operation of the HRIS functionality, reporting, data integrity and quality assurance. You will test the release of functionality for the periodic enhancements to the system into the business .As HRIS Analyst develop and maintain strong relationships across all relevant business areas to fully support the Workday solution

Based in our London and Leicester offices you’ll provide a unique and tailored service in the HRIS team to customers internally and externally, going beyond the ordinary to create moments that cannot be experienced elsewhere. A new role within the HRIS team, the scope is to support the day to day running of the HRIS system functionality The HRIS Workday solution is for c 2,500 Selfridges team members and 5,000 contingent workers and will start with Core HR and move forward with absence and Learning Management.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Work alongside the Selfridges HR team to embed functionality of Workday into Selfridges
  • Support the management of the daily operation of Workday 
  • Support the review of the existing functionality versus the future requirements. Carry out gap analysis, document specifications and work alongside our vendors to complete the build of the scoped design
  • Support data gathering and cleansing and uploading exercises working
  • Ensure any system functionality changes are aligned to the agreed formal change control, testing process and deployment approach
  • Work alongside HRIS Manager to create and maintain business processes, screens, supervisory organisations and data fields
  • Support maintenance of the security profiles and user logon credentials
  • Work alongside Selfridges IT to ensure all system environments are upgraded in line with contractual commitments
  • Support building system imports and extracts (for reporting and interface purposes)
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with HR and Payroll teams Support Unity Team as require
  • Provide cover for the HRIS Manager during periods of leave as appropriate
  • Train new starters in HR and Payroll on Workday processes to ensure full understanding and application
  • Be the first point of contact for resolution of systems issues
  • Undertake HR Administration tasks to the foundation data and Organisational set up in line with the developed processes
  • Maintain effective learning materials for the system (How to Guides & HR Manual)

Experience and Technical skills

 

  • Previous experience of managing or supporting a cloud based HRIS is essential.  Workday experience is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Hands on experience of supporting components of HRMS solutions would be a benefit
  • Awareness of Data Privacy relating to HR data capture and maintenance
  • Process improvement skills
