The Senior Sustainability Manager sits within Group Sustainability and works directly for the Group Sustainability Director in a small but impactful team. Group Sustainability as a function is central to how the Group is run, working seamlessly with colleagues in Creative, Strategy and other teams.

Key Areas of Accountability
- Provide guidance and support to Selfridges Group brands on specific day to day sustainability requirements as per the Group strategy
- Manage Group Sustainability meetings, off sites and conferences providing agendas and minutes and following up on actions
- Support Group sustainability reporting including development of dashboard, monthly, quarterly reports and support on 6-monthly deep dives, gathering and analysing data and providing comprehensive summary commentary
- Support on strategic projects defined as areas for collaboration delivering of group tools and policies and facilitate knowledge sharing on specific material issues
- Work closely with cross-functional teams at Group and banners to embed sustainability into ways of working
- Manage Group Sustainability budget and coordination of split costs against collaborative projects whilst acting as a central point of contact for external networks and trade organisations
- Manage Selfridges Group brand communications and events that have a connection to sustainability
Key Skills & Experience
- Broad understanding of key sustainability areas, with a breadth of skill and interest
- Great at stakeholder management and able to thoughtfully and constructively challenge the people you work with
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working style
- Strategic and curious mind
- A self-starter/independent worker with a great deal of persistence
- Experience in retail/fashion industry preferred
