Purpose of role: | In this role, you will business partner our People team as well as be responsible for managing our Employer Brand channels, creating compelling content to captivate both internal and external audiences aligned to our purpose and vision to reinvent retail.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is made up of two complementary parts. As an experienced internal communications professional you will business partner our People team bringing to life our strategic goals for the year for all our team members as well as manage our Employer Brand channels ensuring we are bringing the best of Selfridges to our quarter of a million followers.
Internal Communications
- Working closely with the People team to identify, create and deliver innovative communications campaigns that drive engagement around the Selfridges Strategy
- Leading on a number of all company projects and internal events as required, ensuring team members feel informed, involved and inspired
- Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders, offering best practice communications guidance and support
- Providing continual feedback and measurement to track progress against clear objectives and milestones
Employer Brand
- Working with the Communications Team on the planning and creation of all LinkedIn and employer brand channel content, utilising internal events calendar to identify relevant topics to shape Employer Brand communications
- Liaison with Recruitment to understand challenges and goals from a resourcing standpoint, coming up with creative content solutions to support hiring efforts
- Responsible for monthly employer brand reporting, showcasing learnings and opportunities as well as successes
The Ideal Candidate
- Exceptional track record in communications, working with high profile organisations
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across a variety of functional areas
- Experience of working across a broad range of media and channels
- A brilliant writer, with sound editorial judgement. Able to write and edit copy at speed, with attention to detail and the ability to distil complex messages into an easily understood narrative
- Organised, with strong project management and planning skills
