Role Responsibility

As our new Editorial Content Coordinator, you will support with the day-to-day delivery of content across site and app. You will be responsible for content calendar up-keep and creating content briefs on a weekly basis. You will work closely with Production, Trade, Fashion Direction teams and the Shoot Coordinator, to obtain shoot assets and links for the weekly site refresh. As part of this, you will:

 

  • Support the Editorial team with editorial copy, site and app testing, as well as content performance analysis and reporting.
  • Support the Managing Editor and Senior Editorial Copywriter with content calendar up keep for Homepage, CLPs, Landing pages (such as Holiday Shop, Occasionwear Shop, Beauty Coming Soon page etc.), PLP content spots for all territories
  • Create weekly content briefs for site and app refreshes in workflow tool (Trello)
  • Liaise with the Trade team to supply product links for weekly site and app Refreshes
  • Support the Editorial team with gathering product links for editorial features
  • Liaise with Shoot Coordinator and Fashion Direction team to obtain shoot assets for the weekly site refresh
  • Support the Managing Editor with server (Sharepoint) upkeep and organisation
  • Support the Managing Editor and Digital Production team with weekly editorial content delivery to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Support the Managing Editor and Senior Editorial Copywriters with editorial performance reporting for features, homepage, landing pages etc.
  • Provide support to the Editorial and Content Management teams with building and populating pages (such as Homepage) in the CMS (AEM)
  • Generate original and engaging cross-category editorial ideas
  • Copy writing for content spots, PLP headers etc.
  • Updating Selfridges.com pages including homepage, editorial archive page ‘We Love’, landing pages etc. on a weekly basis

 

You’ll be reporting into the Managing Editor, as well as working closely internally with Production, Trade, Fashion Direction teams and the Shoot Coordinator.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience in print publishing or digital content essential. Digital retail experience preferable.

A minimum of two years’ experience in a print or digital editorial role essential.

 

Technical Skills:

Excellent writing skills and a good working knowledge of the fashion and beauty industry.

Natural organisational abilities and strong attention to detail.
