Role Responsibility

As the Divisional Leader for our Luxury Accessories retail business your job will be to maximise the profitability of this division now and in the future through outstanding leadership, resulting in the achievement of excellent customer service, retail standards and team performance. You will manage a portfolio of own bought brands from Givenchy, Valextra, Jimmy Choo through to concession relationships with the likes of Hermes, Chanel and Louis Vuitton to name but a few. Managing experienced Sales Managers and a wider Department Manager team, you will collectively lead and inspire a team of 150 own bought team members, putting trust, empowerment and instilling our values at the forefront of your agenda. You will need to influence and lead a further 200 concession team members through relationships with concession leads. You will do much more than just meet expectations. Instead, you’ll provide a bespoke service to customers from all over the world, while taking enormous pride in maintaining our high standards, driving sales and hitting targets. Our customers expect impeccable service delivered by people with a genuine passion for a range of brands and a thorough knowledge of products, fashion or non-fashion.

Heading up our entire Accessories Retail division that boasts respected contemporary brands such as McQueen all the way through to luxury brands like Gucci and Valentino, you’ll set the entire performance strategy and drive the business forward. This is a thrilling opportunity and when you consider all of the exciting new projects this space continues to take on such as The Corner Shop, a space of eclectic curations, the final opening of our Duke Street entrance, Aoyama Flower Market and our new Information Desk, this role will certainly take you on a journey. You’ll inspire and lead a high-performing team of Sales Managers and Department Managers, manage a huge number of concessions, brands and products and handle a significant turnover within our Oxford Street operation. And you’ll do it all in a fast-moving, cutting-edge environment. Developing relationships and driving commercial focus in your managers, you’ll be confident in setting the direction required to enable great performance. You’ll act as a point of contact for key teams such as Buying and Merchandising, VM, HR, Stock Operations as well as work closely with Store Directors and deliver the kind of forward-thinking and imaginative plans that will not only ensure our continued level of performance, but take our Accessories offer to a whole other level.

The Ideal Candidate

Your personal flair and innate sense of style will set you apart. While consulting with customers or clients on a range of products in Accessories you’ll take real pride in delivering a personalised and professional service. You’ll have genuine passion for Luxury goods inside and out with a natural curiosity to discover and explore more about the brands to share with others. Bringing your personality to the service, you will always look to genuinely connect with your customers while thinking creatively to bring their extraordinary shopping experience to life.  The key elements to this role are planning, reviewing and taking action to drive the business, so you will take confidence in driving and developing future business and influencing decisions whilst bringing your imaginative ideas to the table. You need to demonstrate a can-do attitude, an ability to know the detail and be agile enough to move from a strategic to an operational action-orientated mind-set with pace. You will ideally have a broad scope of experience from both a volume and pace environment and a luxury boutique brand environment, understand the differences in approaches and styles required and have the ability to bring the two together for an extraordinary customer experience.
