Digital Assistant Trading Manager

Job Introduction

As Digital Assistant Trading Manager, your key responsibility is to meet and maximise divisional sales and operations under the guidance of the Digital Trading Manager. This involves using core retail KPIs and trading analytics to drive the division, continuous evaluation of the customer journey and market. 

As a Digital Assistant Trading Manager you will:

  • Collaborate with multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with Buying & Merchandising, the Digital Marketing teams, as well as standing in for the Trading Manager when needed.
  • Managing brand relationships with Own Bought and Concession Partners’.
  • Produce weekly trading reports on performance for weekly trading meetings, while guiding and planning brand launches.
  • Understand the digital customer and analyse key digital trading metrics to make informed recommendations to the Trading Manager.
  • Support the Senior Digital Manger with key trading opportunities and projects throughout the year.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders on product opportunities and launch plans onsite across key channels to drive performance.
  • Conducting regular site walks

How you’ll do it…you will be:

  • You will ideally have previous Digital Trading Experience or experience within a similar role
  • You will have advanced Excel skills – with experience in compiling trade reports
  • You will have a commercial mind set with a focus on driving sales & customer retention
  • You will be able to prioritise and plan to deliver against sales targets & commercial Digital KPIs, and supporting the trading function to delivery big commercial trade calendar moments
  • You will be passionate about online trading, you’ll be in touch with the latest trends – spotting the next big thing is something that’s always come naturally to you
  • You will have excellent communication skills, be organised and have the ability to work across stakeholders within the business including Buying & Merchandising and Digital Optimisation, CRM and Performance Marketing on traffic driving opportunities.
