The Creative Producer will sit within Selfridges Multimedia Team and will be responsible for a wide variety of day to day studio tasks, from creative campaigns to business as usual (BAU).

Working with our Creative Teams, the ideal candidate would be someone who is willing to grow and look to expand their career further in the Fashion and Retail Sector. This is an exciting role where you would be given the opportunity to develop your skills under the mentorship of the Head of Production, and be exposed to some of the most creative campaigns in our portfolio.

You would already have an interest in the Fashion & Retail space with some experience of Production Processes and be looking to take the next step up in your career path.

Role Responsibility

Based in our Bird Street offices you’ll provide a unique and tailored service in Creative Production to customers both internally and externally, going beyond the ordinary to create moments that cannot be experienced elsewhere. Working in Creative you’ll share your knowledge through unique Selfridges stories. You will use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest industry trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Reporting to a Production Manager for day-to-day tasks, a keen eye for detail within a creative production environment, to deliver varied selection of ad-hoc tasks.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Multimedia Team to support with planning and delivering all creative campaigns in the Print Production environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule in a fast paced studio environment.
  • Ability to guide and steer away from project bottlenecks.
  • Champion processes and identify new opportunities for improvements
  • Ability to guide internal creative teams across multiple workstreams and cross-discipline projects.
  • Well organised and exemplary communication skills.
  • Monitor project expenditure to ensure we are on track.
  • Be a beacon for any project related issues by identifying and addressing challenges, risk and opportunity.
  • Preparing and managing timelines on creative projects.
  • Lead and nurture business relationships within Selfridges Multimedia to create fluid ways of working.
  • Supporting with suppliers and 3rd parties to negotiate fluid working practices.
  • Manage multiple creative tasks/ projects at any given time.
  • Create project plans and timelines.
  • Author of Documents (Google Docs) and ability to update on a regular basis.

Person specification:

  • Proactive, passionate problem solver who can work collaboratively with Teams.
  • Confident speaker in your own right, complimented by an excellent listening skills.
  • Keen eye for detail in the Fashion & Retail sector with the ambition to learn and grow.
  • Have understanding of Print Processes in a Creative Agency environment 1-2 years.
  • Best in Class interpersonal skills, ability to hold meetings/project stand ups/written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and can deliver competing priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situation and know when to escalate a project to maintain momentum.
  • Enthusiastic and driven about the Selfridges Brand.
  • Strong Teamwork ethic and willingness to deliver projects and overcome hurdles.
  • Knowledge of Print Process is essential. Knowledge of Digital is a bonus.
  • Passionate and want to develop skills in Fashion / Retail Sector.
