Role Responsibility
As a Client Manager in Corporate Gifting, you will be the driving force of customer acquisition and new sales delivery, delivering both a great sales & profit performance and an extraordinary customer experience.
The relationships you build with stakeholders across the business will be crucial for ensuring the success of you and your team.
As Client Manager you will:
Be responsible for corporate gifting strategy, identifying opportunities and risks using external market trends and competitor insights
Establish a constant pipeline of potential clients by building a strong network both within Selfridges, to capitalise on established links, and outside Selfridges, as you identify new business opportunities
Exceed sales targets by developing skills in product knowledge, cross category selling, after sales service and awareness of other products and services within Selfridges
Generate other ideas and implement plans to develop new business opportunities – events, collaborations
Build loyalty and return customer % by adopting a clientelling mindset and building a programme of activity
Partner with key internal stakeholders to develop bespoke product offer if an opportunity exists, giving feedback to Buying team
Manage sale through to on-time fulfilment, with the support of the Corporate Client Administrator
Be ready to step into Head of Corporate Gifting role in their absence
The Ideal Candidate
Commercially minded. Understanding the numbers, you have a plan to achieve sales targets and are reactive to external factors that may impact performance. You spot opportunities for sales, and nurture these.
Collaborative. Building relationships is one of your strengths. Whether it’s with other Selfridges teams to initiate sales opportunities, or with external networks, you realise the importance of working together.
A sales & customer service expert. Accustomed to working in customer focused, fast paced environments, you bring both passion and knowledge to your role. Generating ideas and implementing plans to develop business opportunities.
A good communicator. Your friendly and confident manner is appreciated by customers, team members and stakeholders alike and you can adapt and reprioritise, staying calm and focused under pressure.
Proactive. Planning for the weeks, months and season ahead, you truly take responsibility for ensuring your team’s success.
