Role Responsibility
The Hospitality Host is a great communicator making everyone feel special when they meet you. We know service is at the heart of retail and this role is instrumental in ensuring we engage with the top clients of Selfridges, always putting their needs first.
As a Hospitality host you will do much more than just meet expectations. Instead, you’ll provide a bespoke service to clients from all over the world, while you take enormous pride in maintaining our high standards. You will be responsible for the service delivery within one of our private spaces. The role is varied including meeting and greeting our clients, hosting them in our private spaces and serving each client with passion, knowledge, and attention to detail. Our lounge and suites are a place for our clients to feel at home so it’s important these standards are maintained throughout the day. You will have strong relationships with many stakeholders in the business allowing you to deliver the wants and needs of our clients. Working in the Services Department, you will support our Concierge Consultant team, ensuring the clients journey is smooth and each client leaves our department happy always looking forward to their next visit with us.
The Ideal Candidate
You have a genuine passion for hospitality and service. You have experience in working within the hospitality or service sector. Bringing your personality to the customer experience, you will always look to genuinely connect with each customer, while thinking creatively to bring their extraordinary shopping experience to life. As well as having the ability to work well as part of a team, you’ll be willing to embrace opportunities to build your impeccable service skills in order to offer quality and reassurance to all of our customers.
