Cash Desk Consultant

Role Responsibility

Focusing your efforts on providing outstanding customer experiences, you’ll deliver impeccable service at every turn and build strong relationships with your clients, whether you are dealing with refunds, exchanges, lost property or directing customers to a department of their choice. These relationships will be built on trust, loyalty and your unfailing ability to apply the correct etiquette to each and every situation. Working effectively with your team members, you’ll communicate clearly and confidently at all times to ensure all of our customers receive a warm welcome, and that transactions are dealt with seamlessly. Using your calm and diplomatic nature, you’ll also be on hand to quickly resolve any queries or complaints that your customers may have.

The Ideal Candidate

With strong experience in luxury services or hospitality, your customer service skills will be second to none and you’ll have a real aptitude for building relationships. You’ll display discretion and diplomacy in every situation and have a natural empathy for your clients. Languages are desirable; and you’ll be an excellent communicator at all levels. Above all you’ll be an ambassador for Selfridges enhancing our reputation as “the best department store in the world.”
