Role Responsibility

Based in our Oxford Street store you’ll be responsible for protecting our property and our people against any risks, you’ll manage all types of scenarios, events, investigating incidents and maintaining surveillance across all areas of the building. Our customers expect extraordinary service delivered by people with a genuine passion for what they do with an unparalleled level of experience and knowledge whilst taking enormous pride in maintaining our exceptionally high standards. You’ll need to be able to take a proactive approach to security, manage high profile incidents & investigations and prevent and detect internal and external losses.

Working in Security you can expect plenty of variety so you could be involved in anything from managing stressful incidents to providing assistance with specialist operations. You’ll be handling high call volumes and cases whilst delivering a world class service. Using your passion for what you do, you’ll work confidently with the wider security team and management to deliver exceptional service and protect our people and property against risks. You will use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest security trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge.

You’ll have genuine passion for security inside and out with a natural curiosity to discover and explore more about security. As well as having the ability to work well as part of a team, you’ll be willing to embrace opportunities to build your skills in order to offer quality and reassurance to all of our internal and external customers and maintain solid awareness of everything from emergency incidents to evidence gathering, case files and protecting high risk areas.

You’ll need to have extensive experience in a similar environment and role, excellent knowledge of the Data Protection Act and the law. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect both loss and theft is essential and you must be able to meet the physical demands of the role. You’ll be able to complete detailed statements, evidence packs & be computer literate and able to demonstrate high knowledge of best practise, also remain calm under pressure and able to demonstrate confidence when dealing with a wide variety of incidents. You’ll be comfortable working independently but as part of a team and have the ability to communicate clearly at all levels whilst providing excellent service at all times. An ability to cope under pressure is a must in a high pressured environment such as this.
