Job Introduction

As Brand Specialist – Fine Jewellery (Luxury Department Space) you will:

• Deliver exceptional service to our customers by sharing product knowledge across multiple fine jewellery brands, creating a memorable luxury experience and effectively managing complaints when they arise with discretion and professionalism
• Excite and motivate other colleagues in your department by sharing your knowledge of fine jewellery, from diamonds and precious gemstones to craftsmanship and heritage, communicating stories of newness, product exclusives, brand launches and VIP events to help drive sales, delivering product knowledge and cascading this information via training across the luxury department space
• Oversee multiple fine jewellery brands within the luxury department, ensuring each brand’s identity, standards and storytelling are represented to the highest level while maintaining a cohesive and elevated environment
• Take ownership of operational excellence within the fine jewellery space, ensuring all processes, policies and compliance standards are followed accurately and consistently
• Manage stock with precision and accountability, overseeing deliveries, transfers, stock takes and reconciliations across multiple brands, ensuring accurate inventory control and minimising discrepancies
• Understand and follow health and safety procedures and security procedures, playing an active role in preventing stock loss and ensuring the safe handling, secure storage and controlled movement of high-value fine jewellery pieces at all times
• Support audits and work closely with management and security teams to maintain robust stock control, documentation and reporting processes in line with luxury retail standards
• Understand the need to take responsibility for tasks that may go beyond the role expectation, spotting opportunities to improve business performance, operational efficiencies, client experience, cross-brand collaboration and luxury retail standards
• Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day. A flexible role, you may be required to support different luxury categories within the department, taking your service excellence, product expertise and collaborative spirit with you
• Build and develop your own client base within fine jewellery. Using your exceptional service skills to nurture high-value customer relationships, maintaining them through your unique personal service, private appointments and proactive client outreach

 

A bit about you:

• All over the numbers. You will be set sales, CRM and NPS targets across multiple fine jewellery brands. You will confidently analyse performance, monitor stock accuracy, identify operational risks and opportunities within the luxury department space and have the curiosity and appetite to continually learn more
• A great communicator. Passionate about fine jewellery, craftsmanship, gemstones and heritage brands, this combination will enable you to deliver inspiring brand training and luxury storytelling to your team
• Operationally strong. You are confident managing high-value inventory, adhering to strict stock control procedures and maintaining accurate records with exceptional attention to detail
• Well informed. You will make it your business to know what our competitors in the luxury and fine jewellery market are up to, understanding trends, pricing, exclusives and client expectations
• Known to be a sales and service expert, particularly within a luxury or fine jewellery environment, with the ability to close high-value sales and build lasting client relationships
• Collaborative. Your brand partners and contacts within our own team will rely on you to keep them informed, whether successes, challenges, customer feedback or operational insights across multiple brands
• Approachable. You will be a leader within the luxury department, invested in your wider team and on hand for requests, be they client queries, coaching support or guidance on fine jewellery and stock handling standards
• A proud shopkeeper. It will fall to you to replenish high-value stock, maintain impeccable luxury standards, ensure visual excellence across multiple brands and inspire others to deliver the same
