Assistant Restaurant Manager

Role Responsibility

You will do much more than just meet expectations. Instead, you’ll provide a bespoke service to customers from all over the world, while you take enormous pride in maintaining our high standards, driving sales and hitting targets. As a Restaurant Manager you will accountable for all aspects of the department: sales, profit, costs, people, operation and product, by managing and leading the team confidently to deliver an extraordinary customer experience and impeccable service. Underpinning this is the ability to promote the company values, to lead the team to live them and exceed individual and departmental indicators.

The Ideal Candidate

While consulting with customers or clients on a range of food, drink and service offers in the Selfridges restaurants you’ll take real pride in delivering a personalised and professional service. You’ll have genuine passion for Restaurants inside and out with a natural curiosity to discover and explore more about the industry to share with others. Bringing your personality to the service experience you will always look to genuinely connect with your customers while thinking creatively to bring their extraordinary shopping experience to life.

This is a key role delivering extraordinary customer experiences and constantly maintaining excellent standards through managing and developing the team and role modelling Selfridges’ values. With a hands-on approach, flexible management style and treating their department as if it was their own business, the Restaurant Manager will be accountable for owning and delivering department objectives including sales, stock-loss and payroll, Spotlight scores and ensuring our company values and principles remain the foundation of team behaviour and interaction with customers.  The Restaurant Manager is also responsible for supporting the wider area in delivering objectives by providing support and cover as required.
