Role Responsibility

As our AEM Content Editor, you will support and enable us to deliver an exceptional ominchannel experience through content, and support the Senior Digital Development & Content Manager in delivering the Selfridges campaigns. Focusing on supporting the Online Trading and Operations functions, you will ensure the website is maintained to the highest standard and always maintains its customer-centric approach. A keen eye for detail is a must, as you will be carrying out regular quality checks, making sure content follows e-commerce and SEO best practices.​

As AEM Content Editor you will:​

  • Communicate across multiple departments within the business for all aspects of managing site content within AEM.​

  • Take ownership of building weekly homepages, editorial pages and ad-hoc content within AEM for international website variations​

  • Liaise with the Online Trading and Production teams to ensure all expected content is available within the allocated timescales. E.g. Missing links and featured products​

  • Support the Editorial team with ad hoc content changes in AEM e.g. site information, restaurant and store pages​

  • Be a key part of the sign off process for content before it goes live, and action any amends required from the wider business​

  • Continuously optimise the client's ways of working to ensure business needs are delivered to meet goals​

  • Provide best practice recommendations and monitor insights to spot trends and opportunities to optimise content

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced. With a background as a Content Editor with previous Adobe Experience Manager experience, and prior experience building content pages and maintaining websites.​

  • Knowledgeable. With a strong knowledge of Content Management Systems, including AEM​. And experience in coding

  • A great team player. Knowing how to support and guide others in order get the best out of people, using your sound leadership abilities. ​

  • A clear communicator. You will communicate clearly, effectively and efficiently, and have the ability to collaborate with the wider business build relationships​

  • Organised and proactive. You are able to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail​

  • Customer focused. You will have the maturity and initiative to do what it takes to achieve results with the end customer always at the forefront​

  • Focused and self-motivated . Have the ability to work effectively to drive projects to completion and sustain productivity​
