Role Responsibility

As AEM Developer you will bring your AEM expertise to work alongside other members of the project team and work with Selfridges development release team, to provide solutions and enforce best practices. You’ll play a key role in the development and support of our CMS platform Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and we’ll look to you to provide vision and direction as part of the wider team.​

As AEM Back end Developer you will:​

  • Work closely with Product Owner, Agile Lead and team members to collaborate and influence new development​

  • Ensure performance and quality of all deliveries across different platforms in a timely manner​

  • Develop Back End applications using Adobe Experience Manager​

  • Create separated libraries (JS & CSS) based around a CMS and build templates, components and authorable areas within a CMS​

  • Build internal relationships with the wider teams and external relationships with Technology partners for development and test​​​

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced. With a background in building with Adobe Experience Manager and implementing Templates, Components, Dialogs and Workflows in AEM platform​

  • An AEM expert. With experience in AEM version 6.3, AEM Component Dialogs and developing API’s in AEM​

  • Technically proficient. With experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript​

  • Keen to learn and to challenge for smarter ways of doing things. You will have an interest in innovative ideas and technologies to help you achieve team goals​

  • Focused and self-motivated . Have the ability to work effectively to drive projects to completion and sustain productivity​

  • Customer focused. You will have the maturity and initiative to do what it takes to achieve results with the end customer always at the forefront​

  •  Strong working knowledge of Agile Software Architectures and working in an Agile environment​
